CITY OF JACKSONVILLE: Corpsmen Memorial Dedication Oct. 12

City of Jacksonville issued the following announcement on Sept. 29.

The Dedication of the Corpsmen Memorial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at the Lejeune Memorial Gardens 109 Montford Landing Rd., Jacksonville, NC. Presented by Corpsmen Memorial Foundation Inc, A full ceremony will take place including the 2nd Marine Division Band Brass Quintet; Military color guard, guest speakers, ribbon cutting and the unveiling of the memorial portraying a Corpsman treating a wounded Marine while shielding him from incoming fire. 

Open to the public- this event will be live-streamed on the City of Jacksonville Facebook page and broadcast to G10TV.
