COUNTY OF ONSLOW: Apply For Golden LEAF Foundation for the Community-Based Grants Initiative

County of Onslow issued the following announcement on June 9.

Onslow County is participating with the Golden LEAF Foundation for the Community-Based Grants Initiative in our region.

This Initiative has $11 million available for grants in this region. Four projects from Onslow County will be selected for Golden LEAF grant consideration. The four projects cannot total more than $2 million, with no individual project exceeding $1.5 million. 

Nonprofits and local governments are encouraged to evaluate the criteria for consideration and submit the Project Worksheet template to the email by noon on May 31, 2022.

A training session was held previously with significant attendance from Onslow County. Any organization can use the resources at GoldenLEAF.org/CBGI-Southeast for more information, but the deadline for submission is quickly approaching and the County must have the Project Worksheet to review before a June 1 deadline for submission to Golden LEAF authorities. Completed Project Worksheets should be submitted to the County as soon as possible, but before Noon, May 31, 2022 via email to OnslowGoldenLEAFProposals@OnslowCountyNC.gov
