COUNTY OF ONSLOW: Commissioner of Labor Josh Dobson presented safety awards to several Onslow County Departments

County of Onslow issued the following announcement on Oct. 2.

North Carolina Commissioner of Labor Josh Dobson presented safety awards to several Onslow County departments during the October 3, 2022 Board of Commissioners’ meeting. The NC Department of Labor’s safety award program recognizes workplace safety. Recipients must have had no workplace fatalities within the last year and must maintain an incident rate at least 50% below the industry standard.

Among those awarded include Senior Services, Health Department, Parks and Recreation, Animal Services, Information Technology Services, Purchasing, Social Services, Solid Waste, Vehicle Maintenance, Administration, Consolidated Human Services, Governing Body, Environmental Services, Public Library, Tax Administration, Soil and Water, Finance, Human Resources, Board of Elections, Cooperative Extension, Onslow County Museum, Register of Deeds, and Veteran Services.
