County of  Onslow issued the following announcement on Aug. 1.

The National Weather Service in Newport/Morehead City, NC will be holding a community forum on hurricanes on Tuesday, August 16th, starting at 6 PM. 

The class will be at the Town of North Topsail Beach Town Hall, located at 2008 Loggerhead Court in North Topsail Beach. W

e also have a virtual option to attend, see below.
