COUNTY OF ONSLOW: County Offices and Operations Closed on Thanksgiving

County of Onslow issued the following announcement on Nov. 21.

Most Onslow County offices and operations will be closed on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, November 23-25, 2022, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.

Among the closures is the Onslow County Landfill for Thursday. Administrative offices will be closed Wednesday through Saturday. The Landfill will be open 6:30AM-5PM Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. Convenience Sites will be open 8AM-5:30PM Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.

Onslow County Public Library branches and the Onslow County Museum will be closed on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, but both will observe regular weekend hours.

All Onslow County Sheriff’s Office administrative offices including detention and detective divisions, will be closed Wednesday through Sunday, November 23–27. The Civil Division will be open Wednesday from 8AM–6PM and will be closed Thursday–Sunday. The Radio Room (where citizens can walk in for assistance, get a deputy dispatched, etc.) will be open every day from 8AM–6PM.
