County of Onslow issued the following announcement on Dec. 5.

As we approach the end of 2022, one of the major deadlines to keep in mind is the January 5th deadline for payment of 2022 real and personal property taxes.

There are several different methods for payment and any payment made by mail must be postmarked January 5, 2022 to avoid being considered late.

Personal property listings must be completed by Tuesday, December 31st. In this December episode of Onslow County Today Kevin Turner, Onslow County Tax Administrator, meets with Lisa Whitman-Grice to discuss these important upcoming tax deadlines as well as tax office closings.
