COUNTY OF ONSLOW: Seeking poll workers for the November Election

County of Onslow issued the following announcement on Aug. 16.

August 16, 2022 is Help America Vote Day and the Onslow County Board of Elections is seeking poll workers for the November election. By becoming a poll worker you can help address the critical shortage of poll workers, strengthen our democracy, inspire greater civic engagement and volunteerism, and help ensure free and fair elections in November and beyond.

Poll workers must meet the following requirements:

Registered to vote in Onslow County

 At least 18 years old (or 17 year old high school student with approval)

 Be U.S. citizen and Onslow County resident

 Attend a training session.
