On Friday, April 11, former Swansboro High School standout Robert Beatty’s current college team, the Norfolk State Spartans, lost 4-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Coppin State Eagles.

The game took place at Joe Cannon Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Eagles this season.

The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at 2 p.m. at Joe Cannon Stadium against Coppin State Eagles.
