On Friday, Feb. 7, former Jacksonville High School standout Matthew Lovitt’s current college team, the Chowan Hawks, lost 10-6 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Coker Cobras.
The game took place at Schmotzer Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Cobras this season.
The Hawks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 8 at 1 p.m. at Schmotzer Stadium against Coker Cobras.
