On Sunday, Feb. 16, former Jacksonville High School standout Matthew Lovitt’s current college team, the Chowan Hawks, lost 6-3 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Young Harris Mountain Lions.

The game took place at Zell B. Miller Field. This was their first matchup against the Mountain Lions this season.

The Hawks’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 16 at 6 p.m. at Zell B. Miller Field against Young Harris Mountain Lions.
