On Saturday, April 5, former Jacksonville High School standout Matthew Lovitt’s current college team, the Chowan Hawks, won 10-6 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Shorter Hawks.

The game took place at Hawkins Field. This was their third matchup against the Hawks this season.

The Hawks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 11 at 12 p.m. at Grier Field against Erskine Flying Fleet.
