On Friday, April 11, former Jacksonville High School standout Matthew Lovitt’s current college team, the Chowan Hawks, lost 8-5 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Erskine Flying Fleet.
The game took place at Grier Field. This was their first matchup against the Flying Fleet this season.
The Hawks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at 11 a.m. at Grier Field against Erskine Flying Fleet.
