On Saturday, Feb. 8, former Jacksonville High School standout Matthew Lovitt’s current college team, the Chowan Hawks, lost 8-1 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Coker Cobras.
The game took place at Schmotzer Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Cobras this season.
The Hawks’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 9 at 1 p.m. at Schmotzer Stadium against Coker Cobras.
