On Saturday, March 1, former Jacksonville High School standout Matthew Lovitt’s current college team, the Chowan Hawks, lost 15-7 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Barton Bulldogs.
The game took place at Hawkins Field. This was their first matchup against the Bulldogs this season.
The Hawks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 2 p.m. at Hawkins Field against Barton Bulldogs.
