Onslow County Schools issued the following announcement on March 6.

At the request of a majority of the members of the Onslow County Board of Education, Superintendent Dr. Barry Collins has called a special meeting of the Board of Education for Wednesday, March 15, 2023, beginning at 9 a.m.

 The meeting will be held at the Eastern North Carolina Regional Skills Center and will be for the purpose of electing a chairperson and vice-chairperson. 

In accordance with Board Policy: 2335 – Advance Delivery of Meeting Materials, Board materials will be available online as soon as possible at http://www.boarddocs.com/nc/onslow/Board.nsf
