On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Swansboro High School standout Peyton Eckert’s current college team, the UNC Wilmington Seahawks, won 4-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the UMass Minutewomen.
The game took place at Boseman Field. This was their second matchup against the Minutewomen this season.
The Seahawks’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 11:30 a.m. at Boseman Field against Rider Broncs.
