Rep. Wyatt Gable, a political figure known for his outspoken views, recently shared a series of tweets that touched on historical commemoration and current political debates. His remarks provide insight into his perspectives on both national remembrance and state-level policy issues.

On June 6, 2025, Rep. Gable tweeted about the anniversary of D-Day, emphasizing the significance of Operation Overlord in World War II. He stated, “Today we honor and remember the sacrifices made by our troops at Normandy. Operation Overlord remains the largest amphibious assault in history. This pivotal battle signaled the beginning of the end for Nazi Germany.” The tweet concluded with the hashtag #WeRemember.

Later that day, Gable criticized Carolina Forward’s stance on Republican activities within North Carolina’s legislative processes. In his tweet from June 6, he expressed his opinion on what he perceived as frivolous Democratic proposals by stating, “Extremely rich of Carolina Forward to say Republicans are wasting time when democrats are proposing bills like DEI Pickleball and paying for illegal immigrant sex changes. Give me a break.” The tweet was tagged with #ncpol and #ncleg.

In another tweet posted on June 8, Gable took a strong stance on immigration issues with a succinct message: “DEPORT THEM NOW!! SAD!!!”

These statements reflect Rep. Gable’s focus on historical military events as well as his engagement in contemporary political discourse concerning legislative priorities and immigration policies.
