Rep. Wyatt Gable, a member of the North Carolina House of Representatives, has recently shared updates on social media regarding both personal and legislative matters.

On July 15, 2025, Rep. Gable called for support for a fellow lawmaker, posting: “Please join me in praying for Senator Barnes and her family.”

In another update posted on July 17, 2025, he highlighted his activities during the legislative break: “While we’ve been on break in Raleigh, there’s been plenty going on in the district the past month! I had the opportunity to meet with Swansboro town council members to discuss the town’s needs, and hear updates on ongoing projects. My next stop was at Swansboro High School,” Rep. Gable wrote.

Addressing political developments in Raleigh, Rep. Gable commented on protests against House Bill 958 (HB958) by writing on July 18, 2025: “Democrats in downtown Raleigh protesting the very common sense legislation HB958. I thought they were supposed to have thousands of protesters? Doesn’t look like it to me…. Credits to my campaign manager @JamesScottNC for braving the “massive” crowd to get these images.”

Rep. Wyatt Gable represents a district that includes Swansboro and is known for engaging with local officials and schools during legislative recesses. The referenced HB958 is described by its supporters as “common sense legislation,” though it has faced opposition from Democratic lawmakers and activists who have organized protests in Raleigh.
