Sen. Lazzara files bill in North Carolina Senate to fund water tower in North Topsail Beach

A new bill filed by State Sen. Michael A. Lazzara in the North Carolina Senate seeks to support infrastructure development through funding for a water tower project, according to the North Carolina State Senate.

The bill, filed as SB 106 on Feb. 17 during the 2025 regular session, was formally listed with the short title: ‘Funds/Onslow Water and Sewer Authority.’

In essence, the bill allocates $3 million in nonrecurring funds from the General Fund to the Onslow Water and Sewer Authority for the construction of a water tower serving North Topsail Beach.
