The purpose of this hearing is to solicit public comment with regards to the following:
The adoption of the updated 2020 Flood Damage Prevention Ordinance and Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMs). More information can be found by clicking the following link:/DocumentCenter/View/507. To discuss a requested zoning map amendment submitted by CKBluff Enterprises, LLC. More information can be found by clicking the following link:/DocumentCenter/View/508. Direct any questions or concerns regarding this matter to Nathan Rhue at (910) 329-7081 Ext. 225.
All interested persons are invited to provide comment. Due to the current restrictions in place because of the COVID-19 Pandemic, the Town of Holly Ridge is limiting in person attendance of all meetings. The Town of Holly Ridge is making every effort to ensure the public is still able to provide public comment during the Public Hearing. The meeting will be streamed live on the Town’s Facebook page and comments will be allowed during the meeting. If you would prefer tosubmit your comments in advance, please email comments to townclerk@hollyridgenc.org and place Public Comment in the subject line. Please note these comments will be read during the May 12th public hearing and are considered an open public record. The deadline for submitting public comments by email is Monday, May 11th, 2020 at 5:00 PM.
