Cost of college was unchanged for all students at Coastal Carolina Community College

In-state tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at Coastal Carolina Community College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

North Carolina residents paid $2,462 to attend the two-year public institution in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.

Non-residents paid 249.6 percent more than residents this year, or $8,606. Their price tag was unchanged from $8,606 in 2017-18.

About 91 percent of the school's undergraduate population are North Carolina residents. And about 9 percent are residents of other states.

Data shows 62 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 304 students received grants or scholarships totaling $1.5 million and 5 students took out student loans totaling more than $25,942.

Including all undergraduates (3,864), 2,102 students used grants or scholarships totaling $9.4 million.
