Graduates earn 417 degrees, certificates from Miller-Motte College-Jacksonville

About 60 percent of the 417 degrees and certificates handed out by Miller-Motte College-Jacksonville in 2017-18 were to students in transportation and materials moving programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in Jacksonville conferred 250 certificates in transportation and materials moving programs.

But the single most popular program was for a certificate in truck and bus driver/commercial vehicle operator and instructor. Data shows the school gave out 250 certificates in truck and bus driver/commercial vehicle operator and instructor, followed by 65 associate's degrees in medical/clinical assistant and 39 certificates in general cosmetology/cosmetologist.

The college enrolled 493 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
