Census Bureau: More men than women in Jacksonville in 2019

Of the 73,025 people living in Jacksonville in 2019, 38.8 percent (28,310) were women and 61.2 percent (44,715) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Onslow News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 35,045-to-18,234. In the 65 and over age range, there were 2,575 females and 1,955 males.
