Town of Holly Ridge issued the following announcement on Jul. 19.
Wet weather is expected across Eastern NC over the next several days as a cold front moves into the area and produces scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms, some with torrential downpours. 1-3" of rainfall is expected in most areas by Tuesday evening with locally higher amounts possible.
