Onslow County Schools issued the following announcement on Aug. 19.
Ahead of the new year, we would like to remind our families that, through a waiver from the USDA, OCS will continue to provide meals free of charge for all students through June 2022.
While meals will be free this year, families can still apply for meal benefits to receive access to other benefits, including college application fee waivers, discounted testing fees, and more. You can apply for meal benefits online at www.lunchapplication.com. Paper applications, which can be found on the school nutrition website, can be printed and returned to your school or sent directly to the School Nutrition office at P.O. Box 99 Jacksonville, NC 28540. Please contact the OCS School Nutrition office with further questions.
