Town of Swansboro issued the following announcement on Aug. 20.
Help us remember those who lost their lives on Sept 11, 2001 and honor our local First Responders and Military personnel. We are proud to announce our local band Heart Stop @HeartStopBand will be supporting the event and playing from 0900-1200. Enjoy post-race refreshments (for runners and volunteers), guest speakers, Runner awards & Hero presentations, a kid zone with tactical vehicle (touch-a-truck etc) displays, a bounce house and a variety of vendors. Food trucks will be on-site with food for purchase.
