Onslow County Parks and Recreation issued the following announcement on Jan. 8.
Parents of children ages 5-17, we have a great opportunity for your child to educate themselves while winning an awesome prize. Thanks to Love Grace & Mercy Church the top award amount will be $100, 2nd place will be awarded $50, and 3rd place, $25 for each category. In recognition and honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., you have the chance to celebrate his life by entering this essay/spoken word contest. Details can be found in the flyer below.
