County of Onslow issued the following announcement on Sept. 5.
Don't forget to set your calendars for our Household Hazardous Waste day!! Saturday, October 8, 2022 from 9am-2pm. This is for Onslow County non-business residents only. Accepted materials: paint and paint related materials, aerosol cans, pool chemicals, cleaners, light bulbs, gasoline, and etc. These items are $80/ton or min fee of $0.80. We will also accept batteries, pesticides, and prescription drugs at no fee.
