Town of Surf City issued the following announcement on March 6.
Beginning Monday, March 6th trash and recycling rollback services will be performed by the Town of Surf City. There will be no change in schedule, rollback will be performed the day of or the day following trash service and will be provided to all Island residents. This transition is aimed at providing increased efficiency, customer service, and overall health and safety.
The rollback service schedule is subject to change based on any interruptions that may occur with trash service. Delays in service exceeding the Town's Solid Waste Management ordinance (Chapter 15, Section 15-4) will be published on the Town's website and sent through the CodeRED notification system.
