Census Bureau: 75.6% of people in Onslow County were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 201,597 citizens living in Onslow County in 2021, 75.6% were old enough to vote, equating to 152,443 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 87,096 were male, constituting 57.1%, and 65,347 were female, making up 42.9%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Onslow County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 77.8%.
