On Friday, Feb. 7, former Swansboro High School standout Peyton Eckert’s current college team, the UNC Wilmington Seahawks, lost 5-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Syracuse Orange.
The game took place at Boseman Field. This was their first matchup against the Orange this season.
The Seahawks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 7 at 6 p.m. at Boseman Field against Le Moyne Dolphins.
