Town of Holly Ridge issued the following announcement on June 10.

Residents of Neighborhoods of Holly Ridge are inviting everyone to attend their upcoming Hurricane Awareness Community Forum. The forum will take place on Tuesday, June 14th, 2022 – 6:30PM to 8PM at the Holly Ridge Community Center (404 Sound Road, Holly Ridge). Representatives from Onslow County Response Agencies will be in attendance to answer any questions. Open to the public.

Jacksonville has announced an Earth Day celebration set for April 18 at Sturgeon City. The free event features STEAM activities, live music, a craft fair, food trucks, and art contests. Community members are encouraged to attend or participate as vendors.
