Town of Holly Ridge issued the following announcement on Oct. 17.

 What’s in YOUR medicine cabinet? 

Holly Ridge Police Department will be collecting unused or expired prescriptions & over-the-counter medications to properly dispose of them in this take-back event.

Operation Medicine Drop is a program administered by Safe Kids North Carolina and the N.C. Department of Insurance. Bring your unused 

or expired prescriptions and over-the-counter medicine to our take-back event.

Please note that liquids, vapes, or syringes will not be accepted.
