Town of Holly Ridge issued the following announcement on Oct. 17.

Please follow the guidelines below to ensure your debris is disposed of properly:

 Vegetation must be no greater than 6 inches in diameter & no longer than 4 feet.

 Neatly stack your yard debris or use Lawn Bags, only.

 Please note that debris placed in trash bags or construction debris will not be picked up.

Jacksonville schedules Earth Day celebration at Sturgeon City on April 18

Jacksonville has announced an Earth Day celebration set for April 18 at Sturgeon City. The free event features STEAM activities, live music, a craft fair, food trucks, and art contests. Community members are encouraged to attend or participate as vendors.
