Town of Surf issued the following announcement on Dec. 6.
The Town will be publishing the Vegetative Debris Pickup schedule quarterly. The pickup dates for January through March 2023 are listed below and are located on our website at surfcitync.gov/2347/Solid-Waste
Due to the holidays, January pickup will be delayed by one week. The first week of pickup (for the South end of the Island) will begin on January 9th.
Place items on the roadside the Sunday evening prior to your scheduled pickup week.
Please only use paper bags for debris; there will be a $5 fee per plastic bag.
Should you miss your designated week you may submit a pickup request; the following fees will apply.
$25 small pile
$50 truck load
$75 dump truck
The pickup request may be submitted through the Town’s App: “My Surf City”
To download the “My Surf City” app:
Visit your Google Play Store or App Store
Search: “My Surf City”
Select “Install” or “Get” to download
Open the app and select “Requests” to submit a Vegetative Debris Pickup request
