Town of Swansboro issued the following announcement on Mar. 8.

The Town of Swansboro has been awarded a Historic Preservation Fund grant to update our architectural survey of the Historic District.

The Historic Preservation Fund is a federal program administered by the National Park Service and made available to Certified Local Governments through the State Historic Preservation Office.

Richard Grubb & Associates has been selected as the consultant to aid the Town in this endeavor.  You may see them around Town this week walking through the Historic District and taking photos for the project.
