Rep. Wyatt Gable, a Republican member of the North Carolina State House representing the 14th district since 2025, has used his social media platform to voice concerns about local and state leadership as well as public safety in Charlotte.

On September 8, 2025, Gable criticized local and state Democratic leaders, stating: “The silence from Charlotte’s so-called leadership, and our states Democrat leaders is shameful. Charlotte is going to end up just like many crime-ridden cities such as DC & Chicago. Shameful!”

The following day, on September 9, 2025, he commented on former Governor Roy Cooper’s tenure: “If what Roy Cooper was doing in office as governor for 8 years was ‘fighting for North Carolina’, God help us all if he wins in November….”

On September 10, 2025, Gable addressed an incident involving conservative activist Charlie Kirk: “Please take a moment to pray for Charlie Kirk. Violence of any kind is unacceptable, and we must take a stand against it.”

Gable assumed office after being elected in 2025 to replace George Cleveland as the representative for North Carolina’s 14th House district.
