Rep. Wyatt Gable, a Republican representing North Carolina’s 14th House district, has recently made several statements on social media regarding legislative efforts to address violent crime and political divisions in the state.

On September 24, 2025, Gable commented on his involvement with Senate Bill 13, known as the Political Terrorism Prevention Act. He stated: “Yesterday I had the chance to speak about SB 13, the Political Terrorism Prevention Act. There is absolutely no place in NC or the US for these heinous acts of violence. Anyone committing these crimes must be punished to the fullest extent.”

The following day, Gable criticized Democratic lawmakers for their stance on crime prevention measures. In a post dated September 25, he wrote: “Apparently to Democrats, protecting North Carolinians from violent murderers is ‘crazy stuff’ Absolutely disgusting comments. The radical leftist Dems have no shame.”

Continuing his commentary on legislative actions, Gable posted on September 26: “House Republicans passed a clean bill… it was you that made these bad decisions”.

Gable was elected to the North Carolina State House in 2025 and succeeded George Cleveland as representative of the state’s 14th House district. His recent posts reflect ongoing debates within the North Carolina legislature over criminal justice policy and partisan conflict.
