Town of Holly Ridge issued the following announcement on Mar. 22.
The Town of Holly Ridge would like to offer their deepest condolences and prayers to the families and loved ones of the Marines who lost their lives on Friday evening while participating in Exercise Cold Response. The Marines were assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 261 out of MCAS New River.
